Are You Afraid of the Light?

I used the widely recognized metaphor of light and dark denoting good and bad for this painting. Darkness here is cancer and the “light” is chemotherapy and the rest of the treatment that I faced. While I had no reservations about the multiple surgeries I had to undergo, nor anesthesia, I was very weary on chemotherapy and its side effects.
