Unveiling

When I think of my life, both as a person and as an artist after chemotherapy, I feel renewed, redefined and reinvigorated. Metaphorically, I depicted this as a gift being unwrapped. A special detail that I like to share is that I referenced my deflated foil balloons that once read, “Nomochemo.” In a break from my previous work, I used a palette that alludes to being seen through heat vision goggles for my figure because, “he’s heating up!” I’m heating up.
